Janitors, multi-unit homeowners or simply automation enthusiasts who want to optimize their cash flow with Pricelabs will be disappointed by this absence.

Key box & connected lock :

It will not be possible to automate check-ins with devices such as Nuki or Igloohome. No connection possible with this type of device. Too bad …

Remote heating control :

No temperature sensor can be linked to your channel manager, so heating optimization will be done manually …

Calendar :

Elloha does not support the “Gap Fill” feature.

What is Gap Fill? :

If you require a minimum 5-night stay: There may be a 4-night “gap” between 2 reservations. Elloha will leave your calendar closed on all your distribution channels, without any manual action on your part.

Superhote , for example, is capable of opening this period and allowing a reservation: a time-saver and an automatic optimization of your calendar.

A rental company that only manages its properties on a weekly basis will be less sensitive to the absence of this option.

Should I subscribe to Elloha?

Elloha is rather a “good” solution on the market. Our opinion is positive, as we are convinced that the use of a channel manager is indispensable.

Its main asset is its included website, with the creation of numerous offers and partnerships made possible by the tool.

This makes Elloha ideal for small-scale gîte owners who want to build loyalty among their weekly or weekend guests.

However, in our opinion, Elloha will not be one of the Top channel managers for :

concierge services ;
lessors with 5 or more properties;
owners whose aim is to automate as many tasks as possible …

Indeed, not being able to automate entry/exit, price modification or even tasks such as asset maintenance with a dedicated team, will be a real problem for some “big” rental companies.

Before subscribing to this type of tool, you need to ask yourself how you feel about managing your assets:

In a rather “traditional” way: price management and personal welcome, for 2 to 3 properties maximum, for example.
Or would you rather automate your processes to free up more time and/or grow by managing more properties?

If you fall into the 2nd category, you’d be better off with another channel manager like Superhote or Lodgify. ..

The only drawback is the absence of templates for creating your site. If this is an essential criterion, the Lodgify solution proposed below will satisfy you.

Beds24 is an industry software heavyweight. It is equipped with a large number of possibilities. It will be more interesting than Elloha in certain respects, such as price automation. Unfortunately, it takes a long time to get the hang of. Nevertheless, it’s a channel manager worth considering!
